Will 1911 Full Size Grips Fit Commander?
I can't find this answer anywhere so I wanted to ask you....I want to buy some 1911 grips for my Commander model 1911. Are these the same grips as a Full Size model 1911?
Do you have any particular 1911 grips that you recommend?

Jack...thanks for asking us. Yep your Commander will take a full size set of grips no problem. As for a recommendation, it varies so much depending on what your preferences are. I don't know which model you have or anything about your handgun as you didn't mention it but I can tell you that I've been eyeballing these Rosewood 1911 Grips for a Kimber lately.
They're simply sexy 1911 grips....for future reference....
The Government model 1911 is your normal 5 inch barrel 1911 with the full frame.
The Commander model is a 4.25 or 4 inch barrel 1911 on a government sized frame.
The Officer model is a 4 inch or less barrel on a reduced frame.
